Are Muay Thai Fighters Good Boxers?

Muay Thai fighters usually cross train once in their life, so it would not be difficult to adjust or switch from one sport or the other on both side. Per usual there will be a slight adjustment period but that comes with all new things

Muay Thai fighters usually have good striking skills because Muay Thai is a comprehensive martial art that includes punches, kicks, elbows, knees, and more. However, they may not have as good boxing skills as professional boxers who only focus on boxing. Muay Thai fighters can be good at boxing techniques like jabs and hooks. However, they don’t have as much experience and specialized training as professional boxers. Some Muay Thai fighters cross train in boxing to enhance their overall striking skills. There have been cases of Muay Thai boxers transitioning to professional boxing. However, it all depends on the fighter, their training schedule, and how hard they work to develop their boxing skills. A fighter can transition to the other easily and will be equally as good as the other, let's say two fighters, one pro boxer and one pro Muay Thai fighter. Each transition to each other's sport I believe they will each be at an equal level of skill in the other sport, since they both have great hand eye coordination as well as muscle stamina, they shouldn’t have a hard time adjusting. That being said, they will have different struggles, while the Muay Thai fighter will have to adjust to not using their feet, elbows and legs. The boxer will have to adjust to using those extra limbs and also get used to defending against those attacks. Other than those things they could easily cross train with no real adjusting period nor will it slow down any progress they are making.
